Flavor Society’s Kitchen
Flavor Society is dedicated to exploring and teaching the rich diversity of global cuisines. Every country has hundreds of unique regional dishes, yet most restaurants serve only the same familiar ten. At Flavor Society, we aim to uncover and share the other ninety.
We will introduce lesser-known flavors while educating and immersing you in the cultures behind them.
Food is more than just sustenance; it’s history, tradition, and a way to connect with one another.
After all, how can we truly understand and care for each other if we don’t take the time to learn? And what better way to learn about someone than by sharing a meal?
What is cooking in the kitchen?
You will have to come out to see, or just look below. There’s nothing wrong with the same old Pad Thai etc. that is served at every Thai restaurant, but there are too many dishes in this world to explore for us to be constantly being eating the same old things. Here we want diversity in what is being served. We will explore dishes from around the world. Some of the regions

Thai
Charred Coconut Corn
Khao Phot Ping is a delightful grilled corn on the cob street food. This specific recipe isn't a traditional Thai preparation per se, but one that was unique to a single vendor that was discovered by Chef Addy Ricker while at the Chiang Mai Temple in the Thai highlands of Northern Thailand. The corn is traditionally brushed with a mixture of coconut cream, sugar, salt, and pandan leaf, which imparts a subtle sweetness and aromatic flavor. Grilling over an open flame adds a smoky char, enhancing the corn's natural sweetness. This snack is commonly enjoyed with a squeeze of lime, balancing the rich coconut glaze with a hint of acidity.
